SMS consent

Grace SMS opt-in flow

This public page is a reviewer copy of the SMS call-to-action shown during Grace account setup. Family members opt in inside the Grace web application after creating an account, then completing intake at https://callwithgrace.com/intake. The intake screen can be completed with email only. A mobile number is saved for family SMS alerts only when the unchecked SMS consent box below is checked before submission.

Reviewer note

The production signup path is account-gated, so this page provides the exact SMS opt-in language, layout, and links for carrier review. The checkbox is unchecked by default in the actual intake flow. Users can finish setup without checking it; Grace will not save the phone number for family SMS alerts unless they opt in.

Intake screen excerpt

About you

We'll text and email you a short note after every call.

Optional: I agree to receive SMS care alerts from Grace at the number above.Grace will text you missed-call alerts, distress alerts, weekly care summaries, and one-time verification codes - typically 2-5 messages per week. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe, HELP for help. See our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

Exact opt-in steps

  1. The family member creates a Grace account and opens intake.
  2. If they want SMS alerts, they enter their own mobile number in the "About you" section.
  3. To receive SMS, they check the unchecked box labeled "Optional: I agree to receive SMS care alerts from Grace at the number above."
  4. The disclosure directly below the checkbox lists message types, typical frequency, message and data rates, STOP and HELP instructions, and links to the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
  5. After submission, Grace sends a one-time SMS code that the user must enter back into the app to confirm ownership of the number before demo calls or further care messages are sent to that number.
  6. If the box is not checked, Grace completes setup with email only and does not save the entered phone number for family SMS alerts.

Consent record

The family member must check the SMS consent box before Grace saves a family contact phone number for SMS alerts. The phone number is then verified by sending a one-time SMS code that must be entered back into the application before demo calls or further care messages are sent to that number.

Users can revoke consent at any time by replying STOP to any Grace text, by removing their mobile number from the dashboard, or by emailing support@callwithgrace.com. For help, users can reply HELP or contact support at the same address.
